Catarina Rolfsdotter-Jansson is an expert moderator and devoted workshop-leader facilitating sustainable development in many aspects and areas. Her work is based on her journalistic profession and a lifelong passion for making the planet a better place.
Catarina was nominated Moderator of The Year in Sweden 2019.
Catarina moderates for the EU Commission, the Swedish Government, municipalities, corporations in Sweden and in other countries as well as for universities.
All sectors of society are obligated to work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Catarina is one of the most experienced moderators in Europe facilitating this on stage and in workshops. She has a unique experience from her 25 years focusing on ecological, economical, and social sustainability and very often assists clients early on in the planning of their events.
She utilizes her 15 years of experience as a yoga teacher on stage creating presence and focus. She leads a five-minute sitting yoga break for the audience at conferences, when this is of interest for the client.
She hosts the international TV-program Climate Action News that is viewed in more than 50 countries and has worked as a program host at SVT, Swedish Public Television. With this experience, she is very comfortable leading panel talks and moderating – interacting with the camera when events are live-streamed.
Catarina is co-founder of the international coalition Our Kids ‘Climate. She has written 12 books and is a public speaker as well as a moderator.
Catarina Rolfsdotter-Jansson was awarded Region Skåne’s Honorary Environmental Award 2019 for her 25 years of engagement in environmental issues, she is Honorary Advisor to NGO Committee on Sustainable Development-New York – officially Associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications. She is part of the Advisory Board for the Nobel Prize Climate Petition.
