Helena Åhman is a passionate observer of the human mind and expert on leadership, pressured situations, situational awareness and conflict management. She describes these phenomena through captivating stories. Her stories may involve hostage negotiators, scientists or film stars, but they are all based on solid scientific background and knowledge. Her ability to combine science, stories and practical advice has made her a winner of the Speaker of the Year award.

Helena Åhman continuously sources new knowledge from her extensive international networks. She has lectured at numerous international companies as well as at the New York University. On top of her PhD and MSc studies she has constantly developed herself e.g. at the Harvard University courses.

Her most recent publication is a book on situational awareness and pressured situations (co-authored with PhD Harri Gustafsberg). Helena’s book on mind management in organisations received a literature prize as the best business management book of the year (available also in English). Her forthcoming book discusses conflict resolution and critical discussions, giving very concrete tips. Her talks are based on the well-researched topics of her books.
