Catarina Rolfsdotter-Jansson has a degree in journalism and is trained as a TV presenter at Channel 7 in New York. She is also a certified yoga instructor, teaching classes since 2004. She has worked as a freelance journalist since 1991, based in New York, Stockholm, Singapore and Malmö. Catarina has published 12 books.
Since 2007 Catarina has focused her career on moderating and lecturing. As a speaker she inspires large public audiences as well as smaller groups with tailor made lectures focusing on sustainability. She speaks for at corporate, government as well as public events.
All sectors of society are obligated to work with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Catarina is a very experienced speaker on these topics, and she lectures in many countries. She has a unique experience from her 25 years focusing on ecological, economical and social sustainability.
She has consulted as an advisor for the WWF Earth Hour City Challenge, for the city of Malmö, for Plan International and she is co-founder of the international NGO “Our Kids ‘Climate”. She did a TEDx in October 2020 at Wageningen University in the Netherlands on how to be a climate hero, “Not all heroes wear a cape”.
Catarina Rolfsdotter-Jansson was awarded Region Skåne’s Honorary Environmental Award 2019 for her 25 years of engagement in environmental issues, she is Honorary Advisor to NGO Committee on Sustainable Development-New York – officially Associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications. She is part of the Advisory Board for the Nobel Prize Climate Petition.
